Calling All Livessence Members for ARTWALK 2009!!
Artwalk Dates: September 12 & 13 2009
Artwalk Location: George Eliot Secondary School Winfield, BC
How to Submit: Fill out the submission form and email to livessence.society@gmail.com!
Any hard copy submissions can be left at Julia's studio at the RCA.
Submission Deadline: August 10th, 2009
Submission Fee: $10 per piece to a max of $50
Number of Works: up to 10 pieces Submission Requirements: Must be a Livessence member to submit. Memberships are available for $35.
Special Requested Artwork: In order for our booth to stand out in the crowded displays of Artwalk, we have decided to try something a little different. We are specifically looking for a large figurative artwork done preferably in reds or bold colours. Please contact Livessence for inclusion of this focal piece.
Gallery Host: Volunteers needed as Gallery Host for 2-hr blocks during Artwalk weekend. (Even if you would rather not submit a piece for Artwalk this year, as a member, please consider volunteering at the Livessence booth to be one of our Gallery Hosts.)
Display Requirements: please see submission form for any important information regarding requirements for displaying artwork.
Timeline: Aug 10 - Submission deadline Sept 1st - Labels printed Sept 4 - Gallery Host schedule confirmed Sept 11 - Drop off work - 6-7pm Friday Sept 12 - Gallery Host - 2 hour blocks starting at 10am-5pm Saturday Sept 12 - Social/dinner - 7pm Saturday Sept 13 - Gallery Host - 2 hour blocks starting at 10am-4pm Sunday Sept 13 - Pick up work - 4pm Sunday We will be having another social dinner to celebrate our exhibition at Artwalk, so mark the Saturday night Sept 12th on your calendar at 7:00pm and come & enjoy hanging out with the members of Livessence... details for a venue will be emailed at a later date.
