Our Small Art Show was absolutely beautiful to behold, and we received some very nice comments in our comment book! I think it is safe to say our group has raised the bar in terms of art displays in the Galleria!
Pick up for work is May 31st. If you wouldn't mind contacting our Exhibition Chairman to let him know what time you will come by, that would be terrific! Ralf's email is exhibitions@livessence.com.

Mark your calendars!
We are planning two "socials".
The first will be Saturday July 26th at Julia's (maybe a nice bbq and dip in the pool after a morning drawing in the vineyard?) and the other is the evening of the setup for Artwalk, Friday Sep 5 730 pm. We are working on getting reservations at Ricardo's in Winfield. Join us for a nice dinner after all that hard work in setting up for the biggest show of the year, or just come for a relaxing highball or martini.

We have had such an exciting time over the past month! A beautifully displayed art show, two public drawing sessions, and Workshops coming up!

Bob's real name is Emmy!
 One of our members, Bob Mueller, has a very interesting story to tell. It has, in fact, one an Emmy award. (That is Bob that you see in the pic with his wife.) I've included a jpg of the newspaper story, to read it, please click on it. It should open a new window for you. Congratulations Bob!!

Photographing Models
Our policy of photographing models during our sessions, public or private, is fairly strict. Cameras of any kind are not permitted in our sessions, but many of our models are happy to work for our artists on an individual basis. If you would like to work with one of our models, please talk to them direct after a session, to find out what their rates are.

Fabric
Do you have any spare fabric just laying around begging to be drawn or painted? The group is looking for some colourful and or exciting fabric for backdrops for our sessions. Please contact Margaret at margaret@margaretgleig.com if you have some to share with the rest of the group!

TShirts - white with black logo
Some of you have received your tshirts! If you havent ordered your tshirt yet, please contact Julia, and we'll get one on the way for you! Cost is $7. They are white with our black lettered logo, similar to above but without the border.

It was a terrific showing, thank you to all who came out to draw! I've included one of the photos that I took during that day, with everyone drawing, and as you can see, we have quite the audience! Some folks even got on the floor with their children to draw with us! What a wonderful way to interact with the community. I hope you had fun too!
