Livessence has forty grids available for rent throughout the year. It is best if you know you have a show coming up and you will need grids, to book them right away. It is likely others have shows too, and as we all know, the person who is prepared is the one who gets the goodies. Here is the information for renting Livessence grids:

Fees

  • Livessence members – $1 for per grid per day – $120 per month for 40 grids, $60 per month for 20 grids etc
  • Non-members – $10 for 3 grids per day, $120 per month for 20 grids

Details

  • 40 black grids available
  • Cash upfront
  • If you are planning to rent the grids you need to let the grid master know 2 weeks in advance as she must make sure she can access the basement on that day.
  • Pick-up and return of grids will take place Saturday, Sunday or Monday afternoons.
  • Renters responsible to pick-up & drop-off
  • Sign-out procedure: renters agree to sign they will take care of the grids and return them in good order and with no damages

Monday night drawing is happening in November on November 21 and 28.

In January, Monday drawing is happening on January 16, 23 and 30.

These sessions are mostly long poses.

Join us from 9:30 till noon to draw or just for the lunch from 12:30 – 2:30
in the Painting and Drawing room at the RCA.

Anyways here is the long and short of it…………….
Livessence has the Drawing and Painting Studio booked for half the day in conjunction with Bonnie Anderson's Show. Members have the opportunity to display smaller pieces (this is in addition to the hallway display) for sale for that day in the D/P Studio. 20% commission on sale (15% to RCA, 5% Livessence) will be charged. You are to remove all unsold works at the end of day. Please feel free to bring along your biz/post cards to enhance the mini show/sale. We are expecting general public to draw with us that morning as the model will be draped and supplies provided.

Hallway Art Exchange November 12 from 8:45 to 9:30

I’m filling in for Christine as she is unable to do the picture exchange this time.

 

Please note the following:

·        All pictures must be ready to hang with wire on the back—you are allowed to hang 2 pieces. We will have Livessence information cards at the exchange so that you can put in all of your information however, you should also put your information on the back of your pieces.

·        Julia asked me to mention to everyone that ARTWORK IS SELLING so it is worthwhile to have your work on display. The work on display will be there over Christmas so she also suggested that any pieces you intend to hang should be $400 or less as that’s the price range that’s selling.

·        The executive decided at the last meeting that artwork will only be hung for 6 weeks so if you have pieces in the hallway you must pick them up when we change the pieces; if you don’t collect your pieces at that time, they will be stored in the RCA basement and you will have to make special arrangements to pick them up. Livessence cannot be held responsible for any damage that may be incurred during storage.

·        20% commission on all pieces sold. 15% to RCA 5% to Livessence

·        Small works will be wired to the chains to prevent theft.

Hi to all, just a short note to let you know that drawing on Sat Aug 20 will take place at Ex Nihilo Vineyards from 10 to about noon.
Sam is the model, and you will be drawing just outside the tasting room on the lawn.
Please bring your chairs with you if you need them, and whatever support you need.
If you wouldnt mind sending me a note back to say yes you are going that would be great!

The address for Ex Nihilo is 1525 Camp Road in Lake Country. They are just down the road from Arrowleaf Winery.
