Hi All there has been a bit of a mix up with communication in regards to hanging our works in RCA Boardroom. We do NOT have for sept. However there will be a change over for works in the Hallway, Ralf will be at RCA 0930, sat, 29 aug. Please bring in your new figurative work for display in the Hallway.
Good Morning Members please read the Call from RCA below. Since it is in the Boardroom I believe they dont want nudes, draped figures are fine. On another note we/you dont have to exhibit works under the Livessence banner, hence non figurative works will do as well. If any of you have enough body of works to cover the walls please go ahead and contact Shannon or as mentioned above, we can put together a show with draped figures and non figurative paintings. Ralf, would you like to organize the group show as you have done a fabulous job with our display in the Hallway? Everyone’s input is highly valuable cheers Tina <taeessuxmal@yahoo.com> *From:* Rotary Centre for the Arts <info@rotarycentreforthearts.com> *To:* taeessuxmal@yahoo.com *Sent:* Thursday, August 13, 2015 4:39 PM *Subject:* CALL TO ARTISTS Boardroom Exhibition Space at the RCA Dear Artists, We are currently looking for artists to display 2-dimensional work in our boardroom space upstairs at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. There is room for about 20 small pieces or about ten medium-large pieces in that space. If you have a body of work that you think would be suitable please send me some pics! Normally our rule is that artists can only display every two years at the RCA but because we have difficulty filling that boardroom space I’d be open to submissions from artists who have shown here in the past year or so as well. Please e-mail your submission to info@rotarycentreforthearts.com . Please only send 2-3 pics (if the files are too large I won’t receive them at this address). The exhibition will run for 2-3 months and can go up immediately. The space is rented regularly and can also be open to the public by appointment. Hi All hope you are having a great summer. Please read the following……. is a great opportunity for us as the only life drawing society in the Valley. An idea from one our execs, Ken, sounds great. We could do a life drawing session on location and display some of our works on grids and hand out our brochures. The event is well attended and lots of fun. So how many of us are going to be part Westside Culture Days??????????? Many!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to hearing from you, cheers Tina Tina Siddiqui | Saatchi Art
